Green Cleaning Tips For Kitchen Stoves And Cook Tops
A sumptuous meal cooked by your partner is one of the best ecstasies in life. But it leaves the kitchen with stains and smudges. Loads of commercial cleaners are available in the market that can do the job of cleaning your kitchen utensils, but think twice before actually using them as they are generally harsh on skin and any contact with the eye may lead to a permanent damage; they are known to release green house gases; they also release aerosol into the environment, which, in present deteriorating environment is completely undesirable, so a sound advice would be to try not using them.
Homemade cleaners are as good as the commercial ones and are not harmful too. They may take a little more time in cleaning the mess though.
Grease, smudges can be removed by preparing a cleaning agent at your home. These are the items required for making a homemade multi-purpose cleaner.

1. One-fourth parts of baking soda which helps deodorize the oven.
2. One-fourth parts of vinegar which helps cleaning the grease built up on the surface.
3. One quarter water (use mildly hot water as it helps in cleaning fast).
Cleaning the Stove cook tops
1. Make sure all the knobs are turned off.
2. Disconnect the gas tank and let the gas in the gas pipe escape.
3. Sprinkle some cornstarch on the grease stains which will absorb the grease.
4. Use the above cleaner on the stains by dipping a cloth or a sponge in it and swipe them off. If they are stubborn, try again.
5. Properly clean around the burners with a nylon pad.
6. If the stove allows you to lift the top then clean below the burners.
7. Once the cleaning is done with the cleaner, rinse the sponge completely and swipe off the parts once again.
8. Your stove is clean and shiny and is ready to be reused.
Cleaning Ovens
1. Try some salt on the grease smudges and food spills that are baked; let it settle, then remove the layer with a spatula.
2. Next, tackle foul odour by keeping a paste that has been made of baking soda and water (similar to a tooth paste). Coat the insides of the oven and leave it over night.
3. Swipe off the layer next day using the cleaner that was made above.
4. In case the stains are still remaining, repeat the steps mentioned above.
Cleaning the oven and the stove cook top using the green methods provides safety to not only your body but also to the drainage system. They are gentle, yet for precaution use rubber gloves. Commercial cleaners release chemicals into the water drainage system. These cleaners are easy to use as they contain strong chemicals that remove the grease in a lot lesser time and with relatively less efforts.
It's high time we realize the mess we have created in the environment and take steps to counter the effects. By using these green cleaners, we are doing our bit to help our mother earth. The
